Metropolitan Library is the new home of the Stewart Lakewood Branch of the Atlanta Fulton County Library System. The 3 acre site in the historic Capitol View neighborhood provides an important civic resource and green space amenity.

The Library Site Plan preserves the historic importance of this prominent site by locating a civic green and public plaza at the highpoint and entry to the Library. Several installations in remembrance of the Church, which once occupied the space, mark the importance of the site historically and provide an engaging entry feature into the plaza and civic green.
